Well, the food is actually very good if you pay attention. Not sure why it got a 4.3, but I would give it a 4.9 as far as food goes, and that’s what counts. Just wish they didn’t serve pork, but what can you expect?

I love this place. I'm from California and it took a while to find a good Mexican restaurant. The enchiladas are amazing as is the guacamole. It is family owned and very friendly

The salsa was very good, it was home made and fresh, not like all the other cookie-cutter Mexican restaurant salsa. All the food was good, and we will definitely be going back!

The food here is very good. The service, however, is horrible. Every time we've been this has been the case. Had lunch there today and the only time we saw our server was when she took our order. Took quite a while for us to get our food. Asked for tea refills and another server came back and said it would be just a minute because they were making more. Ten minutes later she was walking around filling other glasses. My son had to get up and chase someone down to bring refills. Was told again that they were making some. All in all, it took about 15-20 minutes just to get drink refills. With all the other decent Mexican restaurants in the area, I'm not sure I'm likely to go back here.

This has been my favorite place for years. The staff is great and the food is terrific. They've just expended to add a bar area. Tastefully decorated and good atmosphere. I highly recommend the chilaquiles. They also do free refills on horchata and if you're in the mood for the good stuff they serve real bottled Coke classic, the kind made with cane sugar rather than corn syrup. All around top notch.
